We need parent volunteers with a truck or van to help us move music stands and instruments to Delmar Stadium for the Grady football game on 9/30. We also need parent chaperons for the Grady football game 9/30, Lamar Band Night 10/2, and Waltrip Band Night 11/8. Please email Mr. Hall if you can help - email@example.com. Thank you!
Advanced Band students: turn in your permission forms! Tuesday 9/30 - wear your band t-shirt and bring $4 for dinner unless you're bringing your own food. The Pep Rally performance is during school, starting 2:30pm. Students will be excused from B8 at 2pm to allow time to setup and warm-up before the Pep Rally. After the Pep Rally, we will return to the band hall for rehearsal and dinner. We will load the bus and depart from Grady at 5:30pm. The Grady football game is scheduled to begin at 7pm at Delmar Stadium. The band will play music in the stands during the game to support our team! We will return to Grady at approximately 8:30pm.
Join us this Friday night at 6:00 PM (movie starts at 6:30pm) as we present a Sing-A-Long version of a VERY popular movie about a frosty princess with magical powers. (We can't say the name here for legal reasons...its in the contract.)
The movie is FREE — but all students must be accompanied by an adult (NO DROP-OFFS – This is a family event, not parents' night out.)
We will be selling pizza, snacks, drinks and desserts to raise money for Grady Performing Arts!
So bring a blanket and pillow and something comfy to sit on, and come sing-a-long with everyone for a great evening of FAMILY FUN!
Don't forget... Permission & Medical Release forms are due to Mr. Hall by Friday, 9/25/14. We have a lot of great events coming up for the Advanced Band, but students may only participate if they return a permission form and medical release form to Mr. Hall. Thank you!
