The last day of school of the 1st semester of 2014-2015 was a great day. We had music, awards, celebrations, and time to reflect on all of our achievements thus far. Keep up the good work Grady Gators!
You're invited to see and hear the Grady Middle School Bands as we celebrate the season with a concert on Tuesday, 12/9/14 at 6:30pm in the Grady Middle School Commons. Admission is FREE, but donations are greatly appreciated! The doors for the concert will open at 5:30 and refreshments will be available for purchase. Seating is limited, and traffic is heavy around Grady in the evening, so please plan accordingly.
This is the first concert for the Beginning Band which is always a special event! They will be showcasing all that they have learned in since they first started playing their instruments in September. The Advanced Band will be performing an array of holiday music from around the world. Plus, this will be the debut performance of the Grady Middle School Jazz Ensemble. And... there's going to be a special guest appearance by Leon, one of Santa's hardest working elves!
Student performers need to be in their seats ready to warm-up at 6pm. This concert is a major project grade, and attendance is required. Students should plan to arrive at Grady by 5:45pm to allow enough time to get their instrument and music and to find their seat. Student performers must wear their Concert Uniform (Black Dress Shoes, black socks, black dress pants, black belt, and a white long sleeve button dress shirt with a collar) for the concert.
STUDENTS MAY NOT STAY ON CAMPUS AFTER SCHOOL. NO SUPERVISION IS AVAILABLE. PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY.
